Seventh Wave Sounds first release presents four 130-140 breaks tracks from label owners Pixl and P Rambo (AKA Hyson) on a stamped white label.
130 London shows Pixl on a dark, modern breakbeat tip with a nod to the UK Bass scene, while Hold It takes you on a journey back to the early 90s with whistle vibes and a crusty pitched down amen.
Mighty Wind switches up the vibe with a rolling modern hardcore banger with a 4/4 kick to carry you through to the final track of the release. Slick rounds off the EP nicely with another pitched down amen punctuated by rhodes piano and a tidy vocal trade off.
