Brian Auger had figured highly in the 1964 Melody Maker Reader's Poll Jazz Piano" category, but after he heard Jimmy Smith, he switched to Hammond organ and never looked back. In the wake of the successful UK Tamla Motown Revue in 1965, the door opened for other US soul acts to tour Britain and in the summer of 1965, the Soul Sisters crossed the pond and teamed up with Brian Auger's Trinity for a dozen or so dates on the club circuit, from Manchester's Twisted Wheel to Portsmouth's Bird Cage. Whilst they were here, they managed to fit in some radio broadcasts and here they are for the very first time. Side One 1. I Can't Stand It Mcallister 2. Fool Killer Allison 3.
