This EP is about as authentic as you can get. Pete uses nearly all hardware for his productions, using an Amiga to sequence, Akai samplers, and classic Roland kit such as the 909 and 303, as well as mixing down on an external mix desk. Already building quite a name for himself with his work with Inja on Hospital Records, and doing the music / visuals for a recent advert for Apple, not to mention his production in the hip hop world, Pete is that rare artist who can authentically capture the original old skool sound and put it on wax. All four tracks on this EP are tearing, all require more bass than most speaker can handle! Don’t miss this one.
